This enabled more efficient method of body charge initialization (as opposed to body voltage initialization) in BSIM SOI devices in PowerSPICE to account for the history effect.* Pruning of large CCCs based on MOSFETs known to remain OFF during STA simulations. * Performance tuning; improving memory footprint and runtime through profiling and algorithmic enhancements.

Critical contributions included:* Interface to a simulator front-end module for netlist parsing and evaluation services* Interface to the IBM-standard simulator/device interface for BSIM device evaluation* On-demand, table lookup based device models for improved simulation performance. Acted as one of the key contributors during the development and qualification phases of an explicit event-driven simulator in IBM EDA. Main contributions included improvements to its core engine, linear solver and partitioning algorithm for efficient simulation and fundamental changes to its backward Euler algorithm to improve simulation robustness for extracted netlists.
