Capton Partners is a Helsinki-based company focusing in mergers and acquisitions. Core services include financial and tax due diligence, valuation and financial modeling services.As an analyst, my responsibilities include conducting financial due diligence analysis on target companies, which entails analyzing key valuation parameters. The goal is to provide the client deeper understanding of the key value drivers such as sustainable net sales and EBITDA levels, capital committed, and net debt position.

Various tasks in the Flow Control business line:- Sales development for Europe market area (reports, analyses, strategy reporting follow-up)- Participation in Flow Control’s strategy planning and monthly strategy reporting- Participation in the ERP system implementation project (training, system testing and supporting new users)

Participating in the implementation of a new ERP program, with a focus on sales and service.

I was responsible for order handling and deliveries for Europe, South America and India. I started as a summer trainee in May 2019 and continued as a part time employee and Master's thesis worker besides my studies.

As an audit trainee I was part of several clients' audit team and I checked and reviewed companies’ financial records. During my trainee period I gained understanding of clients’ businesses and industries. Also, I became familiar with many of the different financial management software used by the clients.

As a payroll assistant I handled, calculated and paid several customers’ salaries. Furthermore, I prepared reports and file applications to authorities and gave advise to customers on collective labour agreements. This job improved my knowledge of companies’ financial functions, and especially, different payroll systems. My time at Administer also assisted in expanding my skills in the IT area, specifically through daily use of MS Office programs, Excel, Power Point and Outlook. In addition, I learnt to use payroll programs EmCe and eFina.

I worked as a QHSE-assistant (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment) at Piikkio Works, a subsidiary of Meyer Turku, and continued as a part-time employee alongside my studies until the end of December 2017. My job there was to assist the QHSE team in daily tasks, and my responsibilities included quality control, safety monitoring of the factory, and analysing and evaluating potential improvements in production based on collected data. Furthermore, I worked in Sustainability and Transparency in Shipbuilding Network -project together with Meyer Turku and a third party. The aim of this project was to improve the efficiency of recycling of the cabin module while considering other aspects related to sustainability. Working in Piikkio Works gave me good vision about industrial serial production and helped to improve my knowledge of marine industry products. My time at Piikkio Works also assisted in expanding my skills in the IT area, specifically through daily use of MS Office programs Excel and Power Point.
