Experience with the complexities of determining eligibility for insurance benefits such as Healthy Michigan/Medicaid and how to obtain medications free of charge through pharmaceutical companies. Provided support and information to clients and their family members in regards to coping with illness and addressing barriers. Also provided information on how to access health care, understand health care policies and make difficult decisions regarding health care. In depth knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service that includes needs assessments and meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Successfully ran and coordinated a project both independently and with a team of professionals within and outside of the agency. This project resulted in saving the company approximately 1.8 million dollars.
