Originally grown up in the post-Soviet area I moved to Sweden in 2013 where I have worked for environmental and societal topics since then. Being a core member of Suderbyn Ecovillage on Gotland, I am based on the island in the middle of the Baltic Sea, while working for a number of trans-national initiatives on environmental and societal topics, youth transformative education, freedom of speech and grass-root/communities alternatives. Together with the team we are building an intentional community based on principles of voluntary simplicity, intercultural diversity and low ecological footprint. I hold a Master Degree in Sustainable Development from Uppsala University in Sweden and Engineer degree from Ural Federal University in Russia. As a Council member of European Organisation ECOLISE, Council member of the NGO RELEARN, Board member of Suderbyn People-Care Cooperative and a Council member of Baltic Ecovillage Network, I am actively involved in a number of local and international community initiatives. Since more political tensions started to take place in the Baltic Sea Region, I shifted my attention to alternative communities in the region and am inspired to create more cross-pollination between different grass-root initiatives. Projects in which I have been involved include experiential learning programs for youth and adults, action research, communities development and intercultural cooperation.I have extensive experience initiating and coordinating international projects, facilitating group trainings, organizing events, and managing cross-border collaborations with public funding. While I have a wide range of skills, I am particularly interested in tasks that promote ecological or social value and align with my competencies.- Organizing events and creating spaces for personal and community processes, from academic conferences and professional seminars to transformative learning sessions and ceremonies.- Managing publicly funded projects with European, regional, and local grants, including application, implementation, and reporting for the past 8 years.- Building and nurturing partnerships across national borders and society sectors- Developing communication and outreach strategies for pro-change initiatives- Creating high-quality content, including visual design, and social media-oriented content.- Demonstrating proficiency in graphic design, visual storytelling, and infographics, and presenting information in a clear and organized manner.- Understanding User Experience (UX) design principles for both digital and in-person processes.
