About Alisha Sealey, P.Eng.

I have had a lifetime of development of my time management and organizational skills as a competitive student-athlete. Growing up on a farm has nurtured my genuine and hardworking character. I am currently a design engineer at Rathco ENG, working to bring renewable and low carbon energy to our communities. I have experience with district energy, geothermal, biomass, and sewer energy exchange technologies.I have a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. I also completed a Graduate Diploma in Green Energy in conjunction with this degree. As displayed by my continued interest in education, I am an avid learner that is eager to grasp new skills and adapt to new processes.I have experience in automotive manufacturing with both equipment engineering and quality assurance. In my last role, I managed the quality aspect of a new manufacturing technology being introduced to our plant. I have previous experience working in mechanical estimating for a general contractor. I am eager to continue to develop in the field of mechanical engineering. Areas of interest include Renewable Energy/Green Energy, Building Efficiency, and Innovation.
