About Alisha Hacker
I am a recent graduate of Santa Clara Law School and pursuing a career as a prosecutor. I clerked for the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office for 1L and 2L summer and will be returning as as a post-bar clerk in September. I graduated Santa Clara Law in May with a Social Justice and Public Service certificate with an emphasis in Criminal Justice. While in law school, I dedicated my time to several moot court competitions including the National Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition, the Clara Barton International Humanitarian Law Competition, the ABA Negotiations Competition, and the Pictet International Law Competition in Belgium. She also competed and coached for the 1L Galloway competition. Outside of moot court, I chaired the Benefit for Justice for two years which raised nearly $50,000 for summer public interest work over two years. I also worked as a Teaching Assistant for a 1L Criminal Law Class. Prior to law school, I actively pursued my passion for public service working in numerous state and federal government offices. Further, I authored a Senior Honors Thesis on effective legislating in the California State Legislature.
