I am the founder of TECH-Nique, a nonprofit organization that engages communities to co-create solutions using generative AI, a transformative technology that enables new forms of creativity and expression. I have a passion for inspiring tech-resilience and adaptability among diverse and underrepresented groups. Previously, I served as the Executive Director of Microsoft's Future of Work Initiative, where I led a civic/private partnership to prepare Louisville for the advent of machine learning and AI. Through this role, I facilitated over 10,000 engagements with residents around data science, awarded over 2,500 industry-recognized badges and credentials, and created the first of its kind AI city blueprint in collaboration with Brookings Institution. I also championed equity and inclusion in data science and AI education, both in traditional and non-traditional settings. I am a PhD candidate in Educational Leadership, Evaluation, and Organizational Development at the University of Louisville, where I explore the synergy of authentic leadership and intersectionality as it relates to computer science education. My research reflects my commitment to nurturing inclusive environments that drive equity in computer science education. As a generative AI expert and community leader, I aim to leverage this powerful technology for social good and collective impact.
