I’m a trained Microbiologist with a passion for communication, understanding data, and storytelling. With an incredibly enthusiastic attitude, I love uncovering and understanding the big picture and it's rare that I find myself in a role that I'm not putting my all into and thoroughly enjoying. I'm eager to apply my combined experience in science, laboratory and commercial settings to any challenges that come my way.While I completed my Masters in Biotechnology (Clinical Microbiology) in 2016, I was lucky enough to find a role with Carlton and United Breweries to further explore the world of FMCG, and, most excitingly, beer.After three roles at CUB, (and two acquisitions, first AB InBev and then Asahi) I'm now a proud part of the Asahi team in a Service Optimisation Lead role. While the optimisation space is definitely a new challenge for me, the opportunity to work alongside my colleagues and learn about so many aspects of our business as a whole is an exciting new step in my career. My personal passion for writing and communication has led me to love writing when I have the opportunity; at least when I haven't found another new hobby to put all my other spare time into.I've recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Data Science with Distinction through RMIT. I undertook this course to FINALLY explore my interest in data handling and analytics, and I absolutely loved it. I'm keen to take on some personal projects in future utilising my newfound skills.
