As the Director of Brand & Stakeholder Engagement, I lead a talented team responsible for marketing, communications and stakeholder engagement for Alberta's second largest credit union. I take pride in nurturing our award-wining corporate culture, supporting our brand and cultivating a strong, positive relationship with all our stakeholders.

Director of Corporate Relations (Promoted) As the Director of Corporate Relations I was responsible for evaluating market conditions, keeping up-to-date on marketing trends and demographics of internal and external customers, and developing benchmarks to measure effectiveness. Maintained quality standards of communications that included branding, public relations, advertising, white papers, research management, intranet design and content. Developed and implemented communications and media strategies that successfully delivered information and key messages to the public.Achievements:• The 2009 "Report on the Way We Do Business" was recognized by the Marketing Association of Credit Unions for a Canadian Co-operative Association's Award of Excellence and bestowed the Leader in Cooperative Leadership Award• 2009 Awarded First Calgary Financial's Employee Volunteer of the Year• Identified social media as an emerging vehicle to further the organization’s message. Assumed the initiative to create and execute the organization’s brand strategy within the social media space.
