About Alison Armstrong

I am an experienced and passionate educator and leader with demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in various leadership roles in TAFE NSW. I have just finished almost 3 years relieving in the Director of Skills Team, Career Pathways Aboriginal Languages and Employability Skills in Sydney region, where I successfully led a very large and diverse team of more than 800 teachers and 3000 students through the COVID-19 pandemic.I have returned to my substantive position of Team Leader - Educational Pathways in the Career Pathways, Aboriginal Languages and Employability Skills team in TAFE NSW Sydney region. Throughout all my leadership roles I have consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to maintaining excellent customer service during a time of significant organisational change, successfully mentoring and coaching teams to ensure optimum performance and service to our customers. Keeping abreast of local and global trends in vocational education I have recently completed a Master of Education - MEd in Educational Leadership with Distinction from Charles Sturt University.
