This includes leading the Regional Renewable Energy Ecosystem in partnership with Envusa Energy and EDF.Before joining Anglo American, Alison served as CEO of AWE plc from 2020 to 2023, where she led an organisation critical to the defence and security of the UK. Joining AWE in 2005, Alison held various senior roles, delivering multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects and technology programmes and developing capabilities and products for the UK's nuclear defence programme. Prior to AWE, Alison spent 14 years at Halcrow, a global engineering consultancy, managing a diverse range of capital projects in both the public and private sectors, in the UK and internationally.
