I am a transport and energy lawyer based in London, advising on asset, project and corporate finance, leasing, disposals, acquisitions and restructuring. Prior to my return to London in 2020, I headed up our Rio de Janeiro office. I also worked as a partner in our Paris office during the early 2000s.Aviation has been a key focus throughout my career and my clients have included leasing companies, banks, ECAs and airlines. My work in offshore energy dates back to the 1990s when I advised the arrangers of one of the first cross-border structured FPSO financings. In both sectors, I have led a wide range of high profile and innovative financings and restructurings and leasing, trading and M&A transactions across numerous regions. My experience has resulted in a deep understanding of stakeholder requirements, structuring techniques and legal and practical challenges. During the global financial crisis, I co-led our new finance group which analysed, and generated market discussions around, the evolution of new products, different sources of liquidity and the reallocation of stakeholder roles and responsibilities.Legal 500 named me as a recommended lawyer for Banking and finance and Projects and energy (Latin America, international firms) 2018 - 2021.
