Procurement lead for the Council's Civil Parking Enforcement contract working with the internal client to establish a cost effective contract whilst improving coverage. Worked closely with the Fire and Rescue Service providing advice and support including options analysis. Acted as the procurement lead for a South East collaborative procurement for the provision for on-station uniform which delivered significant savings across the region. This project was awarded a South East Improvement Partnership award in 2010. Acted as the procurement lead, on behalf of Kent Fire and Rescue, to establish a collaborative procurement for structural fire-fighting PPE for 15 Fire and Rescue Authorities across the South East and East of England. This project required significant influencing, management and communication skills to ensure a cohesive vision across the authorities.
