I am currently responsible for operational oversight of quality assurance and governance in the Faculty of Health & Social Sciences in liaison with our Chief Operating Officer and Associate Dean, Student Experience. I manage a team of Quality Assurance & Governance Officers and an administrator; and support our Faculty Leadership Team in achieving strategic objectives in the delivery, maintenance and enhancement of the academic quality and standards of our programmes. I work in close collaboration with other University services to achieve these objectives. Key endorsements received from colleagues: experience and expertise in Higher Education; staff development and coaching; quality assurance and governance; change management. This year I was nominated for the University's Achieving Excellence award for "Transformational Leadership". In previous years our Quality Assurance & Governance team won the University award for 'High Performing Team'. Previous roles in the University include administrative officer supporting the Director of the 5- year Enterprise in Higher Education Initiative; organiser of Fine Art month-long Symposium in liaison with academic teams; University Staff Development Co-Ordinator; PA to the Director of Human Resources conducting management of change at the time. Prior to working in the HE Sector, I worked in legal, music industry and EU settings in Dublin, London and Brussels before moving to Yorkshire.
