I am a highly experienced, successful and pro-active individual, recently employed as a Service Development Manager in Doncaster for the Avalon Group. Recent achievements include opening and developing a scheme of Shared Lives, improving the quality of care services delivered within an organisation, supporting the registered manager in achieving a Good award in recent CQC inspection. I have also been closely involved in building partnerships with the local council services, service users and their families, GP’s and other healthcare and social care professionals. In this post I have had success in significantly increasing staffing levels and building on staff retention, as well as care hours delivered / profit made. Methods used to achieve these include: supervision, mentoring and performance management, staff development and training, analysing profit and loss, business development / continuity /strategy plans, monitoring and reporting KPI’s, quality audits.I have proven experience and a passion in ensuring that others develop and progress. My driving force is to see the growth and development of a sustainable and profitable business, as well as developing a high quality, compliant and person centered environment for service users and those important to them. I have a proven background of increasing company reputation and relations with key stakeholders, via networking, marketing and increased standards of service / quality. This has also enabled me to transform a business from loss into making a profit and having good outcomes for service users. I have excellent relationships with all professionals involved in the service.I have also been successful in building a community support service offering support to vulnerable adults in the community with varying needs ( Visual Impairment, Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Autism and Asperger's Syndrome, Addison’s Syndrome and Mental Health issues) delivering approximately 500 hours per month.I manage two office based coordinators, Shared Lives carers and support workers. I take part in Avalon on-call rota and deliver care as and when required.
