Technical Advisor For Clinical Labs
Current•Oversee QA functions in 9 clinic laboratories to include coordination, monitoring and reporting of QA issues. •Prep clinic labs for CLIA and COLA surveys and assist clinics with inspection information and recommendations for procedures and information gathering mechanisms.•Perform final review of initial, semi-annual and annual clinical lab personnel training through direct observation competency assessments. •Resolve technical problems/issues and ensure corrective action is taken when test systems deviate from the established performance specifications.•Review all QC, QA, proficiency testing and preventative maintenance records in each clinic laboratory. •Present technical insight to providers regarding clinical laboratory and molecular/genetic testing. •Identifiy all training needs and provide regular in-service training and education for lab and nursing staff, physicians and providers.
