Utilized in-vitro functional assays to characterize novel peptide-drug conjugates which leverage the acidic tumor microenvironment to selectively release anti-cancer drugs to tumor cells while preventing indiscriminate toxicity to otherwise healthy tissue.

Undergraduate Researcher in Dr. Linnaea Ostroff's Lab in the Physiology and Neurobiology Department • Studies expression of calcium-binding proteins through serial immunofluorescence labeling and imaging to study fear and anxiety in the rat model• Working to develop Image J 3D reconstruction of serial multi-stained RNA-FISH probes within the rat brain at nanometer resolution to quantify and detect changes in synaptic connectivity

Assistant to Dr. Thomas Abbott, Professor, in his course Biology 1107: Principles of Biology. Holds weekly review sessions to supplement material learned in lecture for small groups of students.

Serves as a resource to UConn Learning Community Floor Mentors and Teaching Assistants as they form a deeper understanding of community development, leadership, communication, and diversity initiatives on campus.

Student researcher in Dr. Bradley T. Hyman's Laboratory• Investigated the role of the optic nerve in the spread of bioactive tau seeding in Alzheimer’s Disease through preparation of paraffin-embedded tissue slices and protein lyases• Quantified aggregated tau and its movement between neurons and microglia using confocal imaging technology
