Responsible for the output of the UK Retail Marketing team, reporting directly to the Marketing Director, with the overall aim of building brand preference and generating consumer demand to make Magnet the UK’s No 1 kitchen brand.Key Responsibilities:• Developing and managing the annual marketing strategy, incorporating consumer, B2B and new business initiatives• Delivering a joined up media, PR and creative strategy which addresses commercial objectives and achieves sales targets • Managing the retail marketing team, including recruitment and individual performance management plans • Managing all external agency teams, including media, PR, digital and creatives• Reducing YOY media costs whilst delivering sales growth• Managing and reporting on an £8m marketing budget • Overseeing new product and store launches in line with commercial growth objectives• Commissioning market research and gathering consumer insights to ensure effective product and brand development.Achievements:• Project managing the launch of ‘Kitchen One’, a new retail kitchen concept launched in 2016 to drive sales growth via targeting a new consumer demographic.• Project managing the launch of a new website to time and budget, involving the migration of all content to a new digital platform to improve site functionality and drive online leads. 10% YOY increase in web visits and interactions post launch • Identifying multiple new business opportunities (both consumer and B2B)• Delivering a comprehensive sales training course across various UK locations to improve internal communications and align understanding on corporate objectives.
