As an intern for Camp Fire of Puget Sound, I helped to plan an annual fundraiser in order to raise money for underprivileged children to attend summer camps in the Greater Seattle Area. In this position, it was my responsibility to contact and collect donations from companies in order to use them as items in a silent actions. I contributed to planning and assisted at the silent and live fundraising auction that took place in Downtown Seattle. Post-event, I organized taxes and bills, as well wrote thank you letters to the companies who donated. After this task, I helped in promoting candy sales by reaching out and interviewing children and parents who were participating, and created/ posted blogs in order to showcase what candy sales meant to the children and the organization.

Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women is an organization that seeks to empower other women to be the best that they can be both in and out of the chapter. We place heavy focus on sincere friendship, academics, and philanthropy involving children's literature.As Event Planner, I marketed and managed events and semi-annual formals. In this position I planned and counseled with 9 of my peers on the executive team that I served on, as well as corresponded with an advisor. I worked with members of other houses in the Greek community to better our relations through events, and hosted a formal at the Pacific Grill and Cheney Stadium to celebrate the hard work that members put into their academics and community service.
