Started 4th September at this enormous and v leaky country house. Aiming to make it a fabulous place to come and volunteer at - lots to do at this exciting time; the next chapter in the life of this fascinating place.

I manage the coordination, production, editing and submission of documentation concerning Serious Incidents within my local NHS Foundation Trust.. I also manage the issue of agile devices to community staff, along with other tasks which support the development and operational management of the Trust's business division. I line manage four members of staff and I'm currently awaiting another internal review of services.

I managed a group of around 100 volunteers in hospice services including recruitment, training, mentoring and ongoing management. I was an advocate for volunteering across all hospice services, working closely with consultants, doctors, and the extensive nursing teams and support services including catering, cleaning and administration teams, and with wider teams across the NHS Foundation Trust. I oversaw fundraising activities including organising events, working with fundraising bodies and coordinating all on site donations to our service, as well as working in partnership with our community fundraiser.Throughout 2014-15 I provided significant operational contribution to a £1.5 million extension and refurbishment of the hospice property. I managed a team of seasonal staff and coordinated the operational day to day running of an award winning country house and garden. This included financial responsibilities, overseeing the work of volunteers, conceiving and delivering successful events and giving specialist guided tours and talks to outreach groups. During this time the house and garden won many accolades and was consistently in the top five performing English Heritage sites in the country.
