I provide desktop publishing, typesetting and MS Office template creation services to a number of different clients and agencies. This requires me to consult with clients and collaborate with design studios/branding agencies to assess project briefs to determine the optimum process for delivery, and then employ the necessary technical skills to ensure the brief is met or exceeded.From initial design phase through to final delivery; I am responsible for producing simple but robust and user-friendly templates; creating bespoke visual graphical elements; formatting and combining text, numerical data, Excel charts and photographs for print- and/or screen-ready documents in accordance with branding guidelines as well as typesetting, proofreading and consistency checking annual and half year reports, brochures and other corporate documents.This role highlights my technical prowess, problem solving skills and creativity.

I provide consultant desktop publishing services as part of a bid production team for major Public Private Partnership (PPP) and other Local, State and Federal Government and or infrastructure tenders. In consultation with the client and the bid team, I develop the tender branding and design Word, PowerPoint and InDesign templates for all visual document materials such as folders, presentation boxes, USBs, title pages, tabbed dividers, executive summaries, diagrams, charts and presentations. I take responsibility for the formatting and finalisation of all documentation for print or electronic submission. This role requires extensive technical and software experience as well as an ability to communicate with people at all levels and across many different disciplines – from top level managers, consultants, team leaders, and general team members, to external service providers such as printers.This role demands excellent time management skills and an ability to streamline competing demands, given the extremely tight timeframes under which tender documents are required to be produced.
