Having had previous visual experience I was immediately nominated as the accessories merchandiser for the holiday period; this involves managing stock levels on the floor, processing the accessories deliveries, identifying new products and making sure each accessory destination was well merchandised to drive sales. I implemented the summer directives alongside our merchandiser, helping with mapping solutions, delegating tasks and managing my time to meet the deadline. I was awarded the best window in the South by our area sales manager for the Spring/Summer window I launched spring 2015. As a supervisor my duties included; key holding, cashing in, setting the floor plan, briefing the team with sales targets, tasks and any company updates, manage the team, help with any customer queries and motivate the staff to work to their highest potential, making sure the shop floor is closed with perfect standards and cash up all the tills whilst updating multiple spreadsheets to work out our sales progress. I was also involved with recruitment and helped interview 25 candidates and assisted our store manager deciding on which candidates were suitable. As a supervisor the store manager tasked me with shop floor training of new employees, setting up and running an in-store Instagram account and create a set till layout for both till points to make serving more efficient. Within SuperDry I have had multisite experience having been sent to Brighton to help re-merchandise their shop floor and Basingstoke to fill in for their supervisor. Quickly adapting to new stores, teams and fixtures was a challenge but one that helped me develop my knowledge and skills to bring back to my own store.
