Was seconded to work with HMIE as a result as my role in engaging with learners inCoatbridge CollegeMy role in this included;* Being part of the External Review Team* Carrying out reviews within Colleges in Scotland* Producing reports on my findings within the review and feeding this back to the * College's Senior Management Team and Board of Management

Part of the guidance team within Student Services. This involved dealing with people on afirst hand basis and striving to provide the best service possible. Main duties included - * Event co-ordination* Student guidance* Managing team of 6 volunteersAdditional duties out-with my job role;I was a member of several committees within the college including Board of Management* First point of contact for students and visitors* Responsible for implementation of equality strategies* Signposting and referring to external agencies* Involved in creation and updating of several policy documents including the studentcomplaints procedure, discipline policy and the Student Association constitution* Cash handling following charity events, and distributing to the relevant parties* Processing invoices and remittance advice to suppliers for the Student Association.* Upkeep all paperwork, communication and correspondence on behalf of the College'sStudent Association including emails, letters and text messaging* Input information from application forms onto the Unit E system that the College used.As well as this I was responsible for the upkeep of a section of BlackBoard which is the E-Learning system used by the College* Use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook on a daily basis and I am familiar with allother packages available through Microsoft Office* Responsible for the running of the Student Association as part of my role. Thisrequired me to plan activities on a week to week basis and manage a team of 6.* Working to strict deadlines and timescales. Not meeting these deadlines would have adetrimental effect on events and activities.
