P. Alison Fleming is the President of Lumena Financial Strategies, and has been a Financial Advisor since 1989 when she joined Waddell & Reed. For twenty years she also managed, trained and mentored advisors in the Torrance Division office. After leaving management, she moved to San Diego to devote her full-time effort to serving clients as a Financial Advisor.Alison holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication with an emphasis in Interpersonal and Organizational Management from California State University, Long Beach. She has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM practitioner since 1996 and is involved in all financial planning and recommendation development.Alison serves on the board of ACT Today! (Autism Care Today). She is also a long time member of Rotary and a Paul Harris Fellow. She firmly believes in the Rotary motto “Service Above Self” and our local motto “Be a Long Term Thinker, Not a Short Term Worrier,” applying these beliefs to her relationships with clients.
