I've worked in OD and learning for the past 35 years and have recently reduced my hours. I'm now studying for a Diploma in Coaching Supervision with the Centre for International Coaching Supervision. I finding the course both personally and professionally enlightening, inspiring and challenging. We have weekly group facilitated sessions and regular small group supervision practice. As a result, I feel I feel more confident and knowledgeable about the practice of supervision in the helping professions, and the course has also inspired me to focus more on the art of coaching itself.To receive the Diploma on Coaching Supervision, I need to undertake 25 hours of coaching supervision practice and complete a reflective essay which demonstrates how I have applied my learning to the practice of supervision. I am therefore looking for practicing coaches who would like to have supervision, free of charge.I believe I have an empathetic and supportive style and a belief that people need to space, time and safety to come to their own decisions about what works for them and their clients. I am working on developing a way to provide challenge and development which is helpful to the coach and their clients. It would be great to work with coaches who want to focus on themselves and the development of their practice, and see the experience as a journey we could go on together. I have a level 7 coaching diploma and I'm a trained mediator, but my main interest is in organisational development and how we can create working environments where people can fulfil their potential, live their best lives and serve their communities.
