Administrative Clerk
CurrentProvides administrative support services to the Manager of Council/Committee Services & Deputy City Clerk and Committee Administrators as follows:- Performs Council/Committee Secretariat functions including creating, distributing and posting agendas, minutes and reports in eSCRIBE and Laserfiche, specifically for the Committee of Adjustment, while also supporting Council/Special Council, Standing, Quasi-judicial, and Advisory Committee meetings.- Processes and completes legislative/statutory forms relating to the Planning Act, Municipal Act, 2001, Vital Statis Act, Marriage Act, Ontario Heritage Act, Commissioner of Oaths Act, Municipal Elections Act, and Assessment Act.- Issues Burial Permits and Marriage Licences in accordance with legislative requirements, and acts as a Deputy Commissioner of Oaths for the public.- Undertakes various duties related to the Municipal Election.- Responds to inquiries and provides customer service to the public via telephone, email and in-person.
