Key efforts to increase percentage of meaningful engaged alumni include: hosting on-campus events to connect alumni to the building, including alumni engagement day, game-day open houses and Syracuse Samplings Orange Central program; expanding annual Whitman Day from internal event to community-wide celebration with gatherings in six cities, direct marketing, digital engagement and virtual programming; creating custom engagement plans for high-impact alumni/donors and groups with high impact potential; executing off-campus programming in key cities to build community and help engage alumni for mentorship, placement support and philanthropy; and expanding the Young Whitman Advisory Council for support in growing the Whitman community in key cities as well as the implementation of revised bylaws and committee structure to ensure a diverse and highly engaged group with a framework for action and impact. -
