As the most senior hr professional (HRD equivalent) I worked directly with the Chief Executive and the Senior Leadership Team to shift the culture of the organisation to be modern, enabled and networked and one in which colleagues were autonomous and empowered.I led a team of over 80 Organisational Development and HR professionals and was responsible for a budget of over £6 million. My service was shared across 2 London boroughs and also provided a commercial service to a number of external organisations via SLA’s. Acting as an internal consultant I worked on the organisations key culture change program. I recruited over 120 change agents, enabled the creation of our organisations values and behaviours and launched an employee discount scheme.I project managed the successful reaccreditation as in Investor in People and its subsequent action planning.My work with service managers has enabled teams to transition from dysfunctional to working well together which I achieved via a mix of coaching, challenge and support and staff involvement.

My main responsibility was employee health and wellbeing and I ran a project aimed an increasing wellbeing in order to reduce sickness absence.I ran this project in house saving the organisation circa £30,000 and as a result sickness absence in the pilot area reduced by 1 day per fte.
