• Responsible for administering the company’s benefit program including health, dental, vision,disability, group RRSP, DPSP, and provincial healthcare plans;• Liaise with benefits consultants and insurance carriers on behalf of employees;• Assist with managing medical leaves and the gradual return to work process by liaising withCase Managers and Human Resources to ensure functional information is shared as necessary;• Respond to all employee benefit related inquiries in a timely manner;• Review and maintain benefit policies, ensure booklets are up to date;• Review and process benefit enrolment forms and disability claim forms for accuracy whileensuring the eligibility criteria are met; follow-up on late applicants and appropriate forms;• Maintain and update benefit information in payroll & benefit systems;• Reconcile monthly and yearly statements including benefit invoices and WCB remittances;• Manage premium payments for employees on leave;• Prepare and update excel spread sheets in order to reconcile invoices;• Maintain benefit files and records in a high-volume environment;

Process transactions for employment, payroll, absence or benefit related changesResponsible for entering all new hires into the payroll systemProvide pro-active customer service when responding to employee and manager inquiries Develop and maintain process documentation, participate in process improvement workResearch and resolve pay and data issues Perform other administrative tasks, as necessaryEducate employees and managers about the location, purpose and functionality of HR information and self service tools
