As the Principal of Magnus Conventus, I have overall management responsibility for complex, multi-disciplinary events and research projects. I have overall authority and responsibility for the day-to-day operations of all projects including: establishing and monitoring critical path and timeline deliverables, task assignment, customer relationship management, event design and facilitation and speaker selection, engagement of research and event teams, as well as meeting all financial and customer satisfaction requirements. I am a lead researcher, author and manager of major research projects. For two decades, I conducted research focusing on education and skills in Canada, especially in the areas of literacy, employability and leadership. I have published 50+ reports and briefings and delivered numerous presentations on: skills, employability, post-secondary education, business-education partnerships, workplace literacy, workplace learning, workplace health and safety, professional development, and leadership training. I am also an experienced conference developer and manager who has successfully executed national and international events for business and government audiences. An accomplished meeting facilitator, I can effectively accommodate from 10 to 100 session participants.
