Served as the Assistant Village Attorney for the Incorporated Village of Port Jefferson for eight years. Managed the Department of Planning and Building and the Fire Marshall's Office. Counseled and advised the Village of Port Jefferson including the Mayor's Office, Board of trustees, Planning Board, and Zoning Board of Appeals in land use and zoning matters, community redevelopment, and compliance with Village, State and Federal regulations.Guided development through the planning, zoning and permit process including several large and mixed-use complexes.
