• Support the coordination of state and national participation in exercises to refine transport emergency preparedness planning and response arrangements to ensure adequate transport emergency preparedness planning and.
• Review and assess intelligence from a variety of operational sources and disseminate advice and warnings on potential emergency events. Analyse and assess the actual transport implications and resource requirement.
• Represent the Transport Services Functional Area at Regional, State and Combat Agency operations centres to facilitate a coordinated transport approach during multi-agency operations including coordinated emergency.
