I have worked in the travel industry since 1993, starting my travel career as a travel sales consultant for Lunn Poly, however after 3 yrs moved to Thomas Cook , achieving a million pounds worth of business in a 12 month period and receiving the accolade of customer hero award. I became a customer service manager within 3 yrs in the business. This involves problem solving, customer complaints, interaction and observation and coaching. I then became a branch manager in 2001 and worked at a number of multi million pound branches in the West Yorkshire region. During this time I achieved A performing branch status on numerous years, smashing targets with them from my amazing sales teams. I was responsible for target setting, audit procedures, 1-1s, observation and coaching, reviews, sales meetings, cruise events and foreign exchange. I can speak to people at all levels. I am passionate about giving excellent customer service, smashing set targets and keeping the team positive throughout the day by setting small targets to help with camaraderie.
