CRM, recruiting, coaching and development, shipping and receiving, payroll and wage cost accountability and visual standards.After a long and fulfilling time with this company, I am sad to say my store location closed.

Took this store from the bottom of the district to the top in my years here. Assisted in the training at other stores and with other management. Participated in management focus groups on ways to improve our business. Participated in a full day of Loss Prevention training with department heads from head office to assume the role of district LP contact. Was promoted to Penningtons in Brantford, which was a high volume double store. Assisted in other stores throughout the district during my management there.

Started as a department manager/third key in Burlington when this company first opened up in Canada. Was promoted to assistant manager in Waterloo when that store opened, and promoted to Store Manger in the Cambridge location. In all positions, responsibility for the successful operation of the store and all the associates. Recruiting, development, crm, ordering, shipping and receiving, payroll, merchandising, financial accountability.

Spent time as an Operations Manager and a Merchandising Manager. Responsible for customer service standards, hiring, training, front end functions, planning stocking crews shipping and receiving.

During the first few years I ran retail pet food and supply stores in the St. Catharines and surrounding areas. Responsibile for daily operations, cash, ordering, merchandising. Was recruited to assist in the store opening crew which was responsible for the opening or relocating of 55 stores throughout Ontario and assisting in the training of new franchise owners.
