I started with 3M's Optical Systems Division straight out of college as part of their 'Six Sigma Manufacturing Engineering' program. The program consisted of (4) six month rotations at different manufacturing sites to work on Six Sigma/Lean focused programs and learn the global supply chain. I also spent 1 year in Hutchinson, MN working on clean coating technologies. I then took a position as a manufacturing engineer with Boston Scientific working on stent electro-polishing for balloon expandable stenting devices, including our new radio-opaque platinum products. In four years I've gained extensive experience with equipment troubleshooting, equipment and product validations, FMEAs, CAPAs, and am the primary audit SME for the stent manufacturing area at BSC.I'm now in a Project Management position within our Global Operations and Supply Chain PMO. Our team is responsible for managing global programs related to manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain. I have recently been focused on Supply Chain initiatives around inventory optimization and regulatory/compliance programs. My current role is leading BSC's EU MDR program as the global project manager.
