I used digital imagery from the PhenoCam network (phenocam.nau.edu) to build and improve phenology models for grassland ecosystems. I also helped manage the imagery database and website, as well as led workshops for land managers, teachers, and researchers about how to set up and use repeat imagery data.

I completed a PhD with Dr. Alan Knapp in the Graduate Degree Program in Ecology (GDPE). I used field experiments and remote sensing data to study how grassland ecosystems respond to changing rainfall patterns as a result of climate change. I also taught several laboratory classes and served as a private science tutor.

I was also responsible for lab upkeep and purchasing, data collection and sorting, and maintaining undergraduate technician work schedules.
