I have been working in the Finance Industry for the last 17 years. In the last 15 years I have specialised in the Public Sector market, the majority or my focus with NHS Trusts and Local Authorities. I have an excellent knowledge of the Legislation of all Public Sector bodies, from the Prudential Code to Options Appraisals, from SSAP21 and FRS5, to the recent changes to IFRS and IAS17. I am also familiar with understanding accounts and the finance regulations within the Independent/Private Sectors. I was the Vice Chair of the Finance and Leasing Association (FLA) Healthcare Forum, working closely with the Chair and the FLA to represent all members on important legislative issues facing the Healthcare NHS Market.I have worked with people from all levels of the leasing industry and the Public Sector, more recently with CEO and Board Directors. I have presented to both Finance Directors and Sales Directors across the Private and Public Sector and I have created training programs on the benefits of Managed Services and Solution based procurement, also understanding the finance constraints, portfolio reviews and creating workable solutions within the bounds of legislation.I work effectively as a team player and independently.
