In the framework of IOM’s Migration & Sustainable Development strategy, RO Brussels is rolling out activities in the EEA region and partner countries globally to build internal and external capacity in the area of Migration & Sustainable Development. This includes managing the EU-funded “Guidelines on Mainstreaming Migration into International Cooperation and Development Policy” (MMICD) project with the aim of contributing to effective mainstreaming of migration into international cooperation and development. The project is producing and piloting guidelines for the use of the EU, other donors and partner countries from the perspective of mainstreaming migration into development aid and donor cooperation and coordination. Accompanying capacity building measures are taking place in three pilot countries targeted by EU development aid.

IOM is working to strengthen mainstreaming of migration into international cooperation and development (MMICD) policies. With the MMICD project supported by the EU, IOM began drafting the guidelines to support the mainstreaming of migration into development programming and efforts of three pilot countries (Nepal, Ecuador, Madagascar) through guidelines and training materials. Main objective of the function is to support the implementation of the communication, visibility, and knowledge management activities of the project, working closely with the Project Team and focal points in pilot countries to effectively capture and share project progress and results.

The UN/UNDP Brussels Representation Office has a coordinating role in leading the UN Brussels Team (UNBT) in its objective to maintain, nurture and develop its strategic partnership with the European Union (EU). The UNBT today constitutes 22 specialized agencies, funds and programmes.Specific responsibilities include :1) providing policy support to the effective development and implementation of the UN-EU strategic partnership, and 2) assisting in the coordination of activities emanating from the Director’s Office regarding inter-agency coordination.

The UN Joint Migration and Development Initiative is implemented by UNDP Brussels in collaboration with IOM, ITC-ILO, UNHCR, UNFPA, UN WOMEN and UNITAR. The programme focuses on the local dimension of migration and development and seeks to maximize the potential of migration for local development through the delivery of targeted support to local authorities and non-state actors.• Support the Knowledge Management expert implement the knowledge management strategy through the revision, editing and formatting of knowledge products and monitoring of deadlines;• Support the dissemination of knowledge products and other JMDI tools;• Provide logistical and administrative support for events the JMDI organizes or participates in;• Revision of translated knowledge products;• Collating information for and drafting reports;• Support in preparation of policy documents, presentations, training materials and talking points as needed;• Support in project closure process including digital and physical filing;• Support in updating and maintaining the M4D Net website;• Any other duties as required.

The programme focuses on the local dimension of migration and development and seeks to maximize the potential of migration for local development through the delivery of targeted support to local authorities and non-state actors.• Conducting research on Migration and Development issues;• Assisting in the maintenance of a system for the collection of best practices in order to consolidate the results coming from the monitoring of the funded initiatives of local authorities in target countries;• Assisting in the preparation of ad-hoc missions to the target countries to support monitoring and the extraction of good practices and lessons learnt;• Assisting in generating knowledge products tailor-made to the needs of local authorities that display good practices, thereby further stimulating both the use of existing knowledge and further interaction between the suppliers and demanders of knowledge on Migration and Development;• Assisting in the running and expansion of the M4D Net and JMDI’s social media through:the preparation of newsletters, blogs, e-Discussions or any other knowledge products,summarizing traffic on the knowledge networks; researching responses to queries;uploading documents on the knowledge portal www.migration4development.org; updating and feeding content.• Assisting in to the outreach and mobilization of existing networks of local authorities, social partners, private sector organizations to actively take part in the JMDI M4D Net;• Any other tasks as needed.

The Red Cross EU Office (RCEU) is located in Brussels, Belgium and serves as a bridge between the European Union (EU) institutions and the Red Cross National Societies in the EU and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), which it represents, by dissemintating informational materials and forming partnerships. The Migration Unit specifically advocates for the dignity and respect of all migrants in relation to the EU level policies which affect them. • Supported outreach to members on EU related migration matters• Drafted Press Release for Word Refugee Day • Attended several external meetings on the reform on the Dublin III Regulation and reported on these events• Wrote an informational document on humanitarian corridors• Conducted background research and analysis of civil society organizations concerns and recommendations relating to the EU border and coast guard proposal, specifically in regards to third country cooperation

Catholic Charities Legal Services Program is located in Las Cruces, New Mexico and provides high-quality, low-cost legal immigration services for those eligible for naturalization, permanent residency renewal, family-based petitions, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), U-Visa (for crime victims), T-Visa (for trafficking victims), VAWA (for victims of domestic violence), and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status.

Interfaith Legal Services for Immigrants (ILSI) is a non-profit organization located in St. Louis, Missouri. ILSI provides immigration legal services for cases related to family reunification, asylum, removal defense, and naturalization, on a sliding scale, to immigrants and their families.
