The Centre for Global Equality focuses the resources available in global centres of excellence such as Cambridge on evolving innovative solutions to global challenges. We contribute to greater global equality by improving access for the underprivileged to the intellectual, social and financial resources usually reserved for the elite.We are a network of NGOs, academics, businesses and individuals who work collaboratively towards reducing extreme inequality, a root cause of poverty and marginalisation globally. Based in Cambridge, UK, we have over 50 member organisations that work on more than 90 projects in 27 countries.

For over 25 years The Harambee Centre was a Development Education Centre that promoted understanding and action on global issues to people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. Based in Cambridge, we provided resources, information and inspirational workshops to local schools, teachers and communities. The Harambee Centre registered as a charity in 1988. Following changes in funding support the Centre closed officially on 31st of August 2010.

Adviser in for-more-than-profit fields of employment, including charities, NGOs, social enterprise, public sector, international development, conservation and environmental work, as well as life sciences. Organised the annual for-more-than-profit event ('Work to change the World' previously called The Works) since 1990.
