The primary responsibilities of this position include: oversight of projects related to women’s health and gender equality, such as development of disposal technologies for disposable absorbent hygiene products (menstrual hygiene and diapers), cultivating strong customer, employee and industry relationships, providing leadership presence in women’s health and gender equality, and publicly representing Biomass Controls PBC through synthesis and dissemination of learnings.In this work, I participate in the ISO TC/338 Menstrual Product standard development committee, shaping the future of menstrual pad components and sustainability.My current work is partially funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (INV-031093): https://www.gatesfoundation.org/about/committed-grants/2022/03/inv031093, with industry advisors including Proctor and Gamble and Kimberly Clark Corporation. -

I also oversee Biomass Controls' recently launched Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) initiative. Our vision for the future is to provide a safe treatment solution for communities, where single-stream menstrual hygiene, excreta and biogenic material refinement can create valuable end products.
