Embarking on a new career path as she undertook her new qualification Alison began working as an administrative casework officer within the Scottish Government's Home Owner's Support Fund, administring applications for their Mortgage to Rent and Mortgage to Shared Equity scheme's.In this new role Alison felt that she would gain skills and experience working within the Housing Sector from the inhertent synergy of the casework and paralegal role, whilst also staying true to her deep rooted concern for providing care and support to the public in need by working within a scheme designed to help famillies in finacial difficulty at risk of losing their homes.From her degree in social work and subsequent training in psychology, along with her prior background working in social care, one of Alison's key strengths is her ability to make connections. In her view of providing the best standard of service and enhancement of business interactions she is concerned with achieving this through the power of relationships and engagement.
