•First line support for PCs and peripherals in remote offices with responsibility for booking and coordinating engineer visits and ownership of call from logging to completion.•First and second line support for PCs, laptops, peripherals and mobile telephony for all building users. This includes call logging, fault diagnosis and resolution.•Escalation point for faults with BlackBerrys and laptops as specialist in mobile devices.•Installation of software via SCCM ensuring valid software licences are available.•Installation and moving of hardware across campus, co-ordinating with Facilities Management on office moves.•Contract manager for laptop contract.•Experience of Windows 7, Windows XP, Office 2010 and other Office packages, Assyst 8 and 10 admin, SCCM, Active Directory, Blackberry Enterprise Server.•Maintenance of accuracy of asset database.

•1st Level support for all network, hardware and software problems•1st Level support for PABX system.•Responsible for ensuring completion of all daily housekeeping tasks including checking for hardware faults on servers and UPSs and monitoring free space on Office Server.•Maintain full site asset register for all server, PC and telecom equipment.•Ensure nightly back up routines completed successfully using Veritas Back up Exec 8 and carry out monthly archiving of data. Restore documents from back up as required.•Administration of CheckPoint Firewall server and creation of rules to limit access to inappropriate sites or to allow access to specific data formats e.g. MS Streaming.•MS Exchange 5.5 server administration, including creating mailboxes and distribution lists and controlling mailbox size.•Upgrade hardware to ensure all PCs comply with minimum system requirements.•Preparation and distribution of telephone reports to department managers.

•Use MS Word to produce CVs, letters and other documents for clients and consultants.•Act as first point of contact for clients using company facilities.•Administer psychometric testing.•Monthly reconciliation of Petty Cash.•Production of monthly client reports to sponsor companies.•Provide basic PC training for clients as required.
