Second Harvest is a nonprofit on a mission to build a hunger-free community. This role was defined by our response to the explosive need during the pandemic when we increased total revenue from $45M to $112M. Leading a team of nine communications experts and relationship managers, we scaled our engagement programs to increase giving from donors below $10K. The dollars raised helped half a million people access nutritious food each month in Santa Clara and San Mateo counties.

Led the donor communications and corporate major gift programs. Coached a team of three to manage complex marketing projects and build high-trust relationships with corporate social responsibility and executive teams at companies in Silicon Valley.

Managed all donor marketing campaigns, stabilized corporate giving, and hired a new team of major gift officers.

Unified the development and marketing teams around fundraising campaigns. Overhauled annual childhood hunger campaign strategy and increased revenue by 130%.

Project managed mail, email, and telemarketing projects for fundraising and stewardship campaigns. Grew direct mail revenue by 44% and monthly donors by 63%.

Served as the internal voice for supporters, answering donor inquiries and solving issues for food drive coordinators. Managed the distribution of food collection barrels to over 1,500 community partners.
