As a speech language pathologist (SLP) at Lincoln County Medical Center, I provide evaluation and treatment for pediatrics and adults with various communication and swallowing disorders. I have over 18 years of experience in SLP, and I am proficient in performing MBSS/VFSS and FEES (Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow) procedures. I also have a passion for augmentative communication, and I have worked with clients who use no-tech to high-tech devices to express their needs and preferences. I have experience as a presenter on a variety of speech pathology, evaluation, and developmental topics to both professional and caregiver audiences. In addition to my clinical role, I also offer hybrid supervision for clinical fellows (CF) in SLP who live in New Mexico or Texas, especially in rural areas where there are limited opportunities for mentorship. I have supervised assistants, apprentices, CFs, and graduate students in various settings, such as SNF, HH, acute rehab, early intervention, and schools. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and expertise with the next generation of SLPs, and I strive to provide them with constructive feedback and guidance.
