CurrentBefore she established her own public relations agency in January of 1995, Alison Auerbach spent nine years as a publicist for RCA Records in Nashville, the last six as manager of the label's media relations. At RCA, she was a member of the team that brought Vince Gill, Martina McBride, Clint Black, K.T. Oslin and Aaron Tippin to international prominence and energized the careers of such multimillion-album sellers as Alabama, The Judds and Keith Whitley.Auerbach has become a specialist in entertainment media both by formal training and far-ranging professional experience. The Oak Ridge, Tennessee, native is an honors graduate of Middle Tennessee State University's acclaimed Recording Industry Management program. In her senior year at MTSU, she was an officer of the Association Of Recording Industry Management Students and coordinated all its fundraising efforts.Professionally, Auerbach has helped operate a major music trade group (the Nashville Music Association), screened and cataloged songs for a music publisher (the Dick James Organization), promoted and tracked records for radio airplay (Warner Brothers Records, Ed Keeley Promotions/Artisan Records) and organized activities for a concert tour support company (Carlo Sound).Auerbach is a member of the Country Music Association, IBMA and Americana Music Association.
