As a county-wide community foundation, we inspire and cultivate charitable giving in Clinton County to build a thriving and resilient community where people want to live, work, and grow. We grow assets and provide grants so people and non-profits can make a lasting and positive impact on our local community.-Identifying operational improvements for a rapidly growing organization including policy updates, process improvements, evaluating outcomes, and new areas of revenue.-Implementing grantmaking strategies to improve alignment with desired impact.-Providing presentations in the community about the role of a community foundation.-Conducting an organizational analysis following a 300% increase in asset growth to understand revenue model, fund needs, and administrative fees for operational improvement.

Working with non profits and the legal community provides great opportunities for a fulfilling and rewarding career. Planning, managing, leading and supporting my clients allows both of us to grow through hard work and diligence. We envision a better future and put that plan into action. I help my clients with strategic planning, research, communications reviews, project management, and board and professional staff relationships.

I worked with some of Ohio's greatest lawyers and offered them an opportunity to renew their zeal for the law through expertise and giving. Through our robust grants, awards, and Fellows programs we fulfilled our statewide mission. Through collaborative efforts with our volunteers and staff, we ensured the mission of OSBF was visible in all our work. Highlights include:-Worked with the Board President and Executive Committee on Board meetings, orientations, and retreats.-Developed annual operating budget and monitored ongoing performance.-Provided leadership and guidance to staff daily.-Worked closely with the Chair of the Finance Committee to ensure the financial health of the organization. Also worked closely with outside investment counsel.-Lead Fellows Class meetings. Developed agendas, facilitated sessions, identified meeting locations, and worked closely with volunteers to execute projects.-Prepared for and completed annual audits and 990 preparation.

Practice Development Manager – July 2002 – January 2005- Managed image and communications of 150 lawyer law firm including client relations, community sponsorships, advertising, website, and promotional materials- Lead eight member department - Prepared and managed a $1+ million budget- Managed relationship with agency and other support vendors- Attended monthly meetings for ten industry marketing groups providing ideas for client development and internal cross-selling opportunities- Collaborated with statewide trade associations to contribute to member events, conferences and trade shows- Developed questions and processes for conducting client interviews and surveys- Member of Management Group
