Having worked in the leisure industry for over 30 years I have a wealth of experience in operational and strategic management, the development and delivery of services and products within the leisure industry, project delivery and management and the creation of innovative and sustainable developments.I spent the first 15 years of my career in leisure management, working for a variety of local authorities in various management positions including the Head of the Leisure DSO in York before joining Alliance Leisure Services in 2002 as Business Development Manager where I developed a strong ability to identify and exploit innovative commercial opportunities, specialising in Spa and Beauty, in the creation of affordable and sustainable developments.In 2012 I set up my own leisure consultancy company, AB Leisure Consulting Ltd where I was employed as an Employers Agent Assistant, supporting Savernake Property Consultants, a team of Chartered Surveryors, in project managing two facility developments at Ruthin Leisure Centre and Corwen Healthy Living Centre.In 2014, in conjunction with a business partner, I set up The Ultimate Secret Ltd. An anti-ageing company specialising in the ultimate aesthetic treatments; CACI Non Surgical Face and Body Lifts and Murad Exfoliating and Resurfacing Facial Peels.In 2017 I ventured on my own and created Your Beauty Secret Ltd, a small friendly salon based in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. Although still specialising in anti-ageing treatments and rejunvenation facials, and the CACI Non-Surgical Facelift facial, our services were expanded to include a Nail Bar offering, Shellac, Gel and Acrylics and Hot Wax and Strip Wax treatments. I am self motivated and disciplined, both a self starter and team player, with a proven strength in planning ahead to organise and manage multifaceted businesses.
