A director of Burningsuit Ltd, a Microsoft Certified Trainer and hold the TAP accreditation in Training Delivery Skills. I am the author of two technical books on Power BI; "Up and Running with DAX for Power BI" and "Introducing Charticulator for Power BI". Both were published by Apress in 2022. IT Trainer and Consultant with over 30 years' experience in delivering computer applications training to all skill levels, from basic users to advanced technical experts. Currently, I specialise in delivering training in Microsoft Power BI Service and Desktop, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Excel. Also, work with businesses as a DAX and Data Analysis consultant. First delivering computer training courses in 1982, I'm one of the first IT Trainers. From the very first PCs, through the emergence of Windows and Microsoft Office through to the cloud-based Microsoft Power BI, I’ve trained on many different types of software to people from very diverse job roles and all walks of life.I was one of the first Excel trainers to move into taking courses in Power Pivot and DAX, from where Power BI was born. From this beginning, Burningsuit was one of the first training companies offering training in Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Service. We at Burningsuit now encourage people to move with the times and renew and grow their skills in Business Intelligence.
