Within our Anti-Hunger programs I coordinate distribution of over 2,000 meals weekly to local community members. Since October 2020 we have distributed over 9,000 pounds of fresh produce in addition to the weekly meals. Additional anti-hunger work includes a healthy corner store initiative to provide a resource for fresh produce to an underserved urban area. I lead a staff of 5 within our anti-hunger program. Within our evidence-based Chronic Disease Prevention programs, I develop course content, facilitate and coach group programs, and manage data collection and administration for diabetes prevention, hypertension management, HIV nutrition education, senior and cancer survivor fitness programs.
