Foster Kinship is my passion work. I founded this nonprofit to provide free support and services in Clark County, NV for individuals who are raising their relative’s children. Foster Kinship now runs the statewide Kinship Navigator Program for Nevada with Kinship Resource Centers located in Las Vegas and Reno, NV. Current programs include: 1. Kinship Navigator Program (Information and Referrals, Case Management for legal, financial, community and emotional stability, Resource Center, Emergency Resources, Support Groups)2. Child Welfare Training Program (Kinship Licensing Training, CPR/First Aid, Car Seat Classes, Parenting Classes)3. Respite Care4. Nevada Kinship Policy Analysis and AdvocacyAs founder and director I oversee all aspects of non-profit organization and board management, including: ◘ Program Management: Designed and implemented programs to support over 6,000 families and over 12,000 children including Case Management, Support Groups, Family Events, Child Welfare Training, and Emergency Support. ◘ Case Management: Work directly with kinship clients to establish more stable and safe home environments for the children in their care to minimize disruptions. ◘ Fundraising: Raised over $3,000,000 since inception with private donors, grants, contracts, and special events. ◘ Community Relations: Work with multiple constituent groups including boards, committees, volunteers, and external audiences. ◘ Organization Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of contract compliance, people management, budgeting, and financial management. ◘ Non Profit Status: As a 501c3, ensure legal and tax-exempt compliance.

Provided employee engagement support for department of over 3,000 employees. ◘ Performance management and employee relations support, specializing in under-performance, for over 3,000 employees.◘ Through efficient administrative and project management work, consolidated and created processes for a team of 12 HR professionals to streamline effectiveness and business client support.◘ Delivered standard and ad-hoc reporting by pro-actively assessing data, identifying trends, and recommending solutions to complicated and intricate people problems.◘ Received 2007 Excellence in Execution award.

Primary coordinator of NIMH funded study on first episode schizophrenia and key personnel on NIMH funded studies of autism and electrical injury.◘ Performed neuro-physiological and cognitive testing and fMRI scans on over 100 patients and healthy subjects and scored research data for analysis and eventual publication.◘ Through targeted recruitment strategies, dramatically increased enrollment of healthy control subjects from 2003.
